Summer is back, and so is the award-winning Seaport Summer Camp!
Designed for children ages 6 – 12, each week has a specific theme, so whether you have a child that is a pirate in training, or a mini historian wanting to dive into Philadelphia’s past, there’s something for everyone. In addition to daily activities, campers will also have plenty of time for on-water fun, with access to paddle boats at Paddle Penn’s Landing and a private cruise with Patriot Harbor Lines. Featured Seaport Summer Camp weeks include:
Anchors Aweigh! (July 11 – 15): This Navy skills-themed week takes campers through games, exercises, and obstacle courses on the water and aboard our two historic ships, Cruiser Olympia and Submarine
Becuna.
Hypothesis & Handiwork (July 18 – 24): From pollution to pop art, this S.T.E.A.M. week will allow crafty campers to create art from their scientific experiences and conclusions.
Probing Philadelphia’s Past (August 1 – 5): William, Benjamin, Rocky…Gritty? Using historical techniques, archaeological artifacts, and written documents, learn about Philly’s past and the people who have called the City of Brotherly Love home for over 500 years.
We hope you’ll join us for a summer of fun and exploration at the Seaport!
