Learn how to eat healthy and what it takes to dodge diabetes with Motivated and Penn Medicine. Classes are hands-on and held once per month on Tuesdays, March 17th, April 21st, and May 19th. Please select your desired dates and time. Seniors: 12-2 pm, and Adults: 5-7 pm.

About the Event
There will be 2 workshops on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (March - May). These are hands-on workshops where the participants (under the instruction of the chef) will prepare their own meals.
12:00 pm - 2 pm: Senior Workshop
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Adults 18+
March 17th Session 1: Understanding Diabetes In each of the 3 sessions, participants will learn about pre-diabetes and diabetes, how they’re diagnosed, and what increases your risk.
April 21st Session 2: Healthy Lifestyles Basic—The participants will discover what balanced meals and proper portions look like, along with easy meal planning, healthy cooking tips, and smart snacking ideas.
May 19th Screening & Goal Setting—The participants will review key takeaways from the program while learning recommended checkups and tests to monitor their health.
