Creative Wellness Project: Valentine's Day Baskets

Crafts, arts, music, drawing, painting, and sculpting have been a part of healing since the 1940s.   The program has been designed for those who are experiencing death, change in employment, additions, and departure of children and other family members from the home and everyday lives can leave one feeling unfocused and sad for extended periods.    Creativity in and of itself is important for remaining healthy, remaining connected to yourself, and connected to the world. During my journey, I attended a "Plant Night" event and found a level of concentration and focus that leveled up my healing process and added a vital tool to my "Toolbox" needed for the journey.  One event helped me to access new adventures, goals, interests, and activities. Ms. Gordon

During this workshop, we will be designing various types of keepsake baskets and tribute baskets. We will be using hands-on crafting to help with our healing process.
