Save Our Children Youth Explosion

Join us at our 2nd Annual Save Our Children Youth Explosion!

The youth, ages 8 to 21 will receive their registration, all meals, activities, and workshop materials. The youth conference and workshops will be held at the West Philadelphia Boys and Girls Club on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 10 am to 5 pm,

The event is designed to spread hope to the youth considering all the gun violence and serious issues that plague our city. Our mission is to ignite the fire within, and spark change in our communities, reduce violence, and spread peace.  And most of all spread the love of Christ.

We are asking for our community of families to participate and partner with us by registering your youth to attend this important event.   How can you help?  That is easy!   Join us at the event and support by sharing the information with your families and friends in your community and on your social media. It takes a village to make a difference and together we can do just that.  The purpose is to introduce youth to positive activities that they can engage in that will help keep them busy and off the streets.

What will the youth receive for participating?  Youth will gain a wealth of information and knowledge from learning how to protect themselves to learning coping skills and finally bridging the digital divide.  Each youth will receive a $10 gift card, a free Chick-fil-A lunch, goodie bag and more.  All workshops begin at 10 am.  Youth will have the opportunity to choose which workshop they would like to participate in:

• Stop the Bleed
• Youth Bridging the Digital Divide
• Coping Skills
• Self-Defense Class
• Music and Movement...Let's Rock!

Each workshop is designed to be hands-on and fun. After lunch, the youth, parents, and guest will attend the Youth Explosion at 300 pm consisting of youth performances, guest speakers, dancers and more.  There will be food trucks waiting for guest outside after the Explosion event to delight you with their awesome cuisines.  The first 100 will receive their meal free!  Don't be late or you will miss out!  In addition, the guest who bring the most youth will receive a special Thank You gift.
